Public procurement law
We advise both awarding authorities and tenderers regarding public procurement procedure.
It requires not only knowledge of the appropriate regulations (e.g. laws against restrictions of competition, public procurement law, German Construction Contract Procedures Part A (VOB/A) but also knowledge of the changing jurisdiction of the award chambers and senates as well as of the European Court of Justice to formulate procurements of works and services. Violations against public procurement law can lead to legal disputes delaying the project and making it more expensive. We provide our clients with our legal know-how at the procurement of works and services and represent them in after-examination procedures to avoid such disadvantages.
We advise tenderers with regard to violations to the procurement law by the awarding authorities. Thereby it is important to consider whether legal protection applies. Furthermore we represent tenderers in after-examination procedures and in legal disputes before court.
